Essays capturing some of life's turning points, delivered on alternate Saturdays.
January is a great time for new beginnings.
Fresh Start Press looks at turning points and transitions that life presents. Every so often, we so-called grownups are forced to make a choice, learn a new skill, or move outside our comfort zones.
Change can be triggered by job loss, medical diagnosis, encounter with a stranger, breakup, unexpected opportunity, or a loved one’s sudden death, to list a few causes. Travel to an unfamiliar locale sparks change, too.
Turning an unasked-for challenge into a positive outcome takes drive, time, and self-compassion. Understanding how somebody else responded to being caught off guard is exciting and inspiring.
New posts will arrive in your inbox every second Saturday.
It takes courage to move on.
